Why can not the new Chess.com version v3 do this!

Again and again I try to use the version v3.

Since I'm a super admin of 3 groups, there are things I do not understand.

1. Notes Texts are not saved. So you have to write or copy them every time!

(Much are small things, but this is really a bad development!)

2. For invitations to join for team matches, multiple match links cannot be copied and pasted together as with version v2!

Further suggestions for improvement will follow!

I'm used to thanking every new member of his site for joining one of my groups. V3 makes this much more complicated!

It takes one click more than at the version v2 until I see which are the newest members!

Why does it take another click to see as with the version v2 all team match participants!

The bugs in V3 are those who designed and implemented the new site..

Everyone has problems using V3  --  for example

when you run your team in V2 you click on members you see this

you can see at a glance which members are online , who are the newcomers and which of them are on-line, the most active members of the team, you can have a full picture of your team members in one moment  and that is very helpful

In V3 you have to spend a lot of time and effort to get a picture and this is not only time-wasting but dysfunctional too - after you have spent 4-5 min to get an idea everything has changed

Also in V2 you can see the views of the forums of the team at the end of your team's homepage below,   but in V3 there are no forum views at all like nobody cares 

V3 is very slow too and if you don't believe how slow it is take a look what happenned in one of my forums

i was working in v2 as always editing some composed problems, everything was right looking the page in V2

I am still waiting for 5 composed problems to upload even after so many months

i remember it was wintertime... may be i have to wait until next Summer cause I don't have the courage to edit them all over again using V3, it took me a lot of time to write them in V2 where they have no problem at all

All my comments are written using V2 and i use a lot of videos and pictures together with text, it's very easy for me

When i tried to write a comment containing text and a couple of videos and pictures in V3 I could never do it properly, because the window works in a different way and it does not permit you to see what you have already written or to change one line or the position of one photo, you cannot process your comment when you write it, this is very annoying

You have to try to create a comment to understand what I mean, if you write something you cannot go up and see it again in order to change one line or change the position of the photo inside the text, or even add something before you edit it, it is because it works with scrolling and does not permit you to see what you have done  you cannot write anything easy as before, it's totally useless.

Also from the moment you edit a comment which contains not only text, you cannot add anything more in it if you try to re-edit because when you try to go at the end it always jumps to the middle and if you try to add text in the beginning you can't do that cause it jumps in the middle again, its very annoying, you can't work...  so after you edit a comment you cannot change it or process it again and re-edit it. You cannot even copy it, nothing you can do in V3. 

To give you an example try to copy the whole following comment below (expert from my poetry forum) in one of your personal forums and then try  process it by yourself, try to add one line as a title over the video or 2 lines at the end of the comment, try to add one picture or put the video between the text or try to delete the last video or the photo  etc,

You will find out that you cannot do anything

if you find out that you cannot copy this comment using  V3

you can still copy it using V2 and try to re-edit on it using both V2 and V3 to see the difference

 you will discover that while you can do anything in V2 so easy (copy, process, add, move one line or a photo, make changes, re-edit)       

 you can't do nothing in V3  like try to delete the last video or the photo or make a correction in one line --  nothing you can do with the comment in V3 anymore  it's useless, 

and this is only what i have collected after some personal efforts to explore the new chesscom

yours informations are new to me, generally V3 is unfriendly to the user, timewasting, dysfunctional, a total downgrade

The news of the team are not read by a very few people,anymore etc  of course you can see that only using V2 where there is a number of views... number of views in V3 simply does not exist in news & in forums because V3 is a downgrade by all means

it is an unending list

I'm just amazed that the old version is in many ways more perfect and professional!

For example, a team match news in both versions:

Example: v2 perfect!

Example: v3 Less perfect!

Is your thread title a question? Because I don't see a question mark there....

2 years a member and you have not played any chess yet !

I guess you are another V3 supporter since even your username has bugs in it

This is happening everywhere in V3,  it seems there's no memory at all, even when you try to write a note or write a message to a friend, or a comment in news or in forums. if by mistake you click another page or because you want to look at something you go to another page

and then you try to turn back to what you were writing you will find a blanc space   It means all your writing is lost !

while in V2 you can go back to your message or your comment even turning 10 or 20 pages back, it is really an unbelievable downgrade which only proves how poor is the performance of new chesscom

In Version 2:

• I use to connect Live Chess to chat.
• I will do Endless Quiz for fun.
• I play Online Chess and sometimes do Tactics Trainer or etc.

In Version 3:

• I use to connect Live Chess to play chess and chat.
• I can do some drills, analysis, creating some links and setting to open in new window.
• I play Online Chess and do Tactics Trainer or etc.
• I create Online tourneys
• No need to upload smileys while posting this for example :)

I like V2 and V3, but I no longer using V2 :( I will just use V2 to play Endless Quiz mainly.

That isn't a function of the website, but your browser. What is different is likely how that Notes field is defined; your browser doesn't see it as a option for auto-complete text.

My mobile won't do any text auto-complete suggestions on the notes, for the same reason. Can't say if that is a bug or a design decision though. You might bug report and see if the text field there should be defined the way it is.
