Chess.com Super Cup is Here!

Are you ready?

 I wish to inform you of this new tournament and how to register for it. Your team is invited to join the Chess.com Super Cup 2012. 

What is CSC?

Goal: To find the best vote chess playing team on chess.com.

This is a vote chess based "Group & Knock-Out" type of tournament. The tournament starts after a Qualifier round where all admitted teams play four games to qualify with two days per move setting. Thirty two teams from all the participants will advance to the tournament. The qualified teams will be put in to eight groups of four where they play each team in their group. Two teams per group, total of sixteen teams, will advance to the Knock-Out Round. Each team will play three games with one opponent. The eight winners will advance to Quarter Final Round following the same format as the previous round then the four winners will advance to Semi-Final Round. Two winners from Semi-Final Round will play one game with three days per move in the Final Round. The winner will be announced as the champion of Chess.com Super Cup. The tournament will last about four years. The registration will open 3-January-2012 and will close 20-January-2012.

What do you need to do to register for this tournament?

• First join the main group. 
• Learn the rules and regulations.
• Inform your team members and your administration.
• Have your representatives join the main group.
• Fill out all the necessary information in the Registration forum and post it there.

Why should your participate in this tournament?

This tournament is not intended to take place in a short time. The goal of the tournament is to find the best vote chess playing team on chess.com. The tournament will take approximately four years. During this time all the teams that have registered will battle to become the Chess.com Vote Chess Champion.
