I doubt it as most of the 3 day time control tournaments go on forever- all it takes is one person to go on vacation.
Has a tournament of at least 100 players and a 14 day time control ever finished?

When I played in ICCF events with post cards, it was not unusual for a section to last a couple years.

Yes, I was eliminated from the Tek it EZ tournament (not such a bad thing in hind-sight I think ). Watching the glacial progress of the first round moved me to post this topic. It is kind of ironic that apparently something has happened to the tournament director as he has not logged into Chess.com since November 10, 2008, but his tournament keeps plodding along anyway.

96 players, 14 days/move and 6(2)->3, meaning that there will have to be at least 5 rounds, and probably more.

Yes, the TD is the slowest player. My bet is July 2014. If we all live that long.

In the history of Chess.com, has a tournament of at least 100 players and 14 day time control been completed? If so, how LONG did it take?

Duration: 2009 01 18 to 2011 06 09 = 2 years, 4 months, 22 days
Likely to be next:

Started: 2009 02 02 = 2 years, 5 months, 10 days and counting
It took 882 days for four rounds ending 2011 07 06
Expected finish: 882/4 * 5 = 1103 days or 2 years, 11 months, 0 days (2011 11 04)

Outstanding TadDude! Proof these tournaments are not eternal - they just feel that way.
