when you put price on the line for winners , keep few things in mind -
1) they might use engines to win a membership/price
2) you dont have any good detection tools like chess.com official tournaments have for which they give prices
3) after this one tournament when you give a price there would be a debate and argument between the participants , as many times in tournaments if few people have same score lets say a lower elo one with same score has also defeated the one with higher elo , but due to lower elo he will come 2nd so similar situations will create arguments
4) after this whenever you create a tournament users will be expecting a price from you
think wisely and then create any tournaments with price on the line
