This, I believe, may be due to the fact that some of those who head the table may at the end of the round be found guilty in cheating. If they were to advance immediately and got banned already in the next round, this would be unfair towards those who would have taken their place in the previous round.
The Group is Decided but the Tournament doesn't advance??

True...but that could happen no matter how much time there is between rounds, I have had cheaters in my tournaments who weren't caught until months after the tournament finished.

I am in a tournament now that advanced even though some games were not yet finished. I suspect it is one of the settings you selected when you created the tournament.

I don’t think so, as I set my tournaments up the same way each time, sometimes they advance others they do not.

No, there is no setting to allow this. I have experienced the same, some tournaments will advance once all groups are decided, others wait until all games are complete
I can only think there is something behind the scenes that makes the decision. Perhaps its linked to group size or number of players or something.
I have encountered this issue many times: most of the games in a round are completed the group is decided, meaning those who will advance to the next round cannot change, sometimes the tournament advances other times it does not? Does any one have details on why this might be??
