It simply doesn't. A rating says how you perform against other players in a specific rating pool (chess.com). It can't be used to estimate a performance in a different rating pool, which also uses a radically different algorithm.

I know. That's why I'm trying to look at a lot of examples to see if I can find a pattern. Dont be hatin just cuz you're not USCF rated.

what he is trying to say is that there is no discernable pattern. therefore this is a pointless exercise.

Besides comparing players in different pools, there's also different playing conditions. USCF tourney games tend to be slower than online games. And there are more distractions when playing at home. And some people don't take their online games as seriously as USCF tournaments, while others play equally seriously at all times. There are just a ton of reasons why these types of rating comparisons are a waste of time.
If you're really concerned with your rating, spend your time doing tactics puzzles instead of on this. That'll help all your ratings go up.

im not looking for opinions, if you want to put up your ratings please do, if not then go away.
Im just doing this beause I want to see the results.

I've got quite a spread..lol

USCF 1310P <--only played 6 tourney games so far, so mine is still provisional also.
Being new to USCF, I will say that I really like competing OTB. It's entirely different than playing online. Forgetting about the ratings, how would you say your play compares from on-line to OTB in general? (better, worse?) I find writing down moves a bit distracting, but I seem to be getting used to it more. And my tactical vision is not as good OTB...I miss little things. (sorry to go off topic a bit).
Regards!

For me, online is much less stressful because no one is watching you and all you have to worry about is the game... In the comfort of your own home.
I like OTB more though. I feel like its more personable and more of a thrill when you do something smart, haha. I kinda compare it to playing Hold'em. Hold'em is much more fun live than on the computer because it adds a lot more interesting variables.
Hi everyone,
Just wondering how your USCF rating compares to your live rating on here?
My USCF is still provisional, I have 7 more until it's oficial.
