The second edition of ChessKid Stars vs. Streamers is set for Sunday, May 14 at 1 p.m. Pacific / 4 p.m. Eastern.

Some of the world’s top young chess talents will take on some of the most famous faces in the world of chess content creation, live on Chess.com/TV and Twitch.tv/ChessKid

The first event, held in February, featured names including FM James Canty III and IM Shreyas Royal and ended in a resounding victory for the young ChessKid representatives, with a final result of 20.5 to 11.5.

Will the new Streamers team, bolstered by additions GM Arturs Neiksans and IM Levy Rozman, be able to equalize the score?

Team ChessKid:

The ChessKid team is once again looking like a fearsome opponent, featuring rising prospects like Tani Adewumi and Alice Lee, who recently made waves in the Pro Chess League by defeating GM Bogdan-Daniel Deac and GM Matthias Bluebaum in massive upsets.

Team Streamers:

The Streamers team will be out for revenge, with Cramling and Rosen returning for the rematch, joined by Arturs Neiksans and the massively popular IM Levy "GothamChess" Rozman.

Commentary will be provided by GM Jesse Kraai and IM Davis Pruess on Chess.com/TV and Twitch.tv/ChessKid. Viewers can also watch the action from the perspective of the streamers on their respective Twitch channels.

Players will compete in eight matches each, with a 5+1 time control (five minutes for each player in each game, with a one-second increment per move). Each ChessKid will play against each streamer twice, and the team with the highest overall score at the end of the event will be declared the winner.
