This video covers a couple middlegame positions where I ask the viewer to find the best move. I also share my own thoughts on the positions at hand.

Got the First one Right =)
i chose f6 in the 2nd one, missing the Be6 discovery =( im always hesitant about offering Queen trades, since it looked like there a mate attack, thats probably why i missed it.
Anyways thanks....Great Video!

Thank you Gerry.
I stopped the video.
I did choose the bg5 as my first choice.
1. bg5 hxg5
2. Ng5+ K move
2. Bxe4
I thought I would like to keep the knight. If he traded bishop my knight would force the black queen to move. Then I could center the Qrook.
It seems that I don't work out combinations as far as you do. I am lucky if I can find some beginnings of combos.

On the second one I just liked pushing the pawn and taking the bishop. I noted that he could not castle and has to stay there to take the pawn. I did note that I would be even in pieces and I like the knight position to start something. Again I don't analize the combination far enough.
I never looked at the Queen.

Thanks so much for this blog.
