Here is a game by two strong players in this line.
Hope you enjoyed my post! Feel free to check out my blog for other articals like this one. Thanks for reading,
No problem, I'm always glad to help.
Thank you for the very instructive coments.
As a response to JairoPCJr.
I am not a strong chess player or an opening theorist. But I'm playing a thematic tourney in this opening and almost won ( 2 blunders in the end killed me...) against a player rating ~2000.
The point is that I played white very differently from your sugestions to achieve this!
I´d like to be if i'm lucky or genius(laugh...)
I had studied a lot before the beginning of the tournment and started attacking almost imediately. Played:
5 NF3 g6
6 e5 ND5
7 QB3 ND6
8 NG5 c4
and so on.It kept me attacking, my Bishop went to b5 and not to the fianchetto and black could not put her bishop in the "fianchetto house".
The game was even until almost the end.Perhaps it was because I was in vacation and took more than 7 hours for this game..(and my adversary, with black, was playing another games at the same time...).Perhaps, also, my concentration was higher because I new her prowess.Below comes all the game.I coul not find how to put this in that so functional diagram.
Congrats for your novelty
very nice, I like it and thanks
I'm already someone who will regularly reply with the C3 sicilian against black in those times I play 1.e4, and who uses the King's Indian Attack as a main line weapon as white. I find the strategic similiarities between the two systems fascinating. I'm sure to try it out in the future. Thanks for the articles Miles.
