If you can't solve this math problem that I'm about to give you, then you're not worthy of sitting down at my table... 6-[-2]/5x(19+4)=

Its not that they take chess that serious, its the safety of knowing no one can see you.  The annonymity of the internet gives everyone a big e-muscle.  And everyday someone here thinks they have invented the wheel.

RonaldJosephCote

My algebra is a little rusty but I got;  28 and 3/4

batgirl

anonymouse invented the cheese wheel?

6-[-2]/5x(19+4)=

6-[-2]/5x(23)=

6-[-46]/5=

30/5-[-46/5]=

76/5=

15.2

So you're sitting around waiting too? Waiting for what?

RonaldJosephCote

             So we have;  15.2     28 +3/4    and  (184)/(5x)

Depends if he wants us to us X as a variable and wants us to simplify or to use it as a variable. It would help if they only tought people to use * or a dot to multiply.

Not that it matters, it's not really math, more like order of operations trivia.

As far as I know the most widely used one is the PEDMAS thing which gives 15.2 but other answers aren't necessarily wrong.

It's (5x), not (5*).  Variables, people! Variables!  :) A lot of you guys need to lighten up, some.  Take a minute from lifes troubles and laugh a little.

leiph18

solve this

5x=

melogibbo

bit random, have to be good at algebra to play you?

Don't see the connection to chess tbh.  (checking your rating seems to strengthen my theory)

To play me you need to be fluent in Chinese and be able to explain string theory.
