I find most of the people on this site anymore are admins. I see them all the time when i am not looking for one. Now, try to get one when your looking for one. Does anyone else see this?

I'm with you capt, and I feel it's for the following reasons:

1.  Too many want the title, but they don't want to do the work.

2.  They have made their own groups (about 12 of their best friends) and don't play tm's, vote, or  tournaments.  They have become inactive groups.

3.  Many good admins have left Chess.com due to their failure to control cheaters, trolls, and just plain pain-in-the-asses.

4.  Many want to be paid, and yet they still  do nothing.

5.  Too many don't know how to get along with other members, so they quit because they can't have it their way.

6.  Interference from other admins in the group, trying to make new admins due things the way they want, or else.

Just a few reasons I have come across during my tenure as an admin of several groups.
