The Match Of The Century, Three Games In GIF Form

I know that I have already blogged today, but it is a very special occasion! Chess.com has announced it's new chess GIFs feature. You can read about it here.

GIF, Graphics Interchange Format, is basically a moving picture, but not a video. As you can imagine, this is a cool way to show a chess game. I have decided to show the three most memorable games of "The Match Of The Century" between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky.

Round 5

This is what a GIF is, if you do not know yet.

Obviously, I will not continue to post in GIF form. I just figured such an amazing feature needed to be included in one post.

Round 6

And, don't just focus on the cool moving picture. Focus on the game, because this is the "Match Of The Century," according to many. Game 6 is considered to be one of the best chess games of all time, as are game 5, and game 13.

Round 13

I will probably do an extended version of the this post not in GIF form, because it can be confusing.

The only reason I did this is to spread to word about this awesome new way to watch a game on chess.com. If you enjoyed this post, click follow in the top right.
