Bled 1931
Bled 1931 was a strong tournament.
14 leading chess masters of the time competed from August 23, 1931-September 29, 1931. Ten of these were from the chess "establishment" and four were up and coming, "promising players."
The superb tournament book repays careful study. See Bled 1931 International Chess Tournament, ed. Hans Kmoch (Caissa Editions, 1987).
