Welcome to puzzle road!

Today, I have a good news for you! I will start in 2024 a stream (don’t ask me why, I just chose a date) and I will play there as much bullet, blitz and rapid. And I have a serious problem with ratings… Blitz: 1900. Bullet: 1800. Rapid…: 1400?? I decided to play rapid again! And in one of my today’s rapid games, I have played 2 brilliant moves for a checkmate!

10/ 2 Brilliant moves and 1 Brilliant news!

This time, the objective won’t be to won material, but to checkmate. White do attack our Knight, but do we really need to move it?

First move: axb3 (!!)

We will see here the checkmate possibility because my opponent did play it. But if he plays other moves, like a5, it’s just a huge advantage for Black! Here, they can’t take the Knight, because of 2. … / Qxa2. Here, me opponent has played axb3.

Second move: Rook a7 (!!)

Impossible for White to avoid the checkmate without loosing the queen! Here, our opponent does play 3. Kc3 (??) and we answer 3. … / Qa5, 4. b4 / Qxb4#.

What for a brilliant checkmate!! GG to everyone who would have played these moves!
Have a good day and have fun in playing chess!
