My April Titled Tuesday

Hi everyone, Today I am going to be talking about my Titled Tuesday experience which took place on 4/21/20. I had an extremely up and down tournament but finished with a solid 4.5/9. The 1st round was a great achievement for me because I drew the former World Junior Champion Parham Maghsoodloo. I even had a winning position on more than one occasion! Let's dive into the action!

Game 1:

Round 2 I was paired against a CM from Sudan rated about 1900 at the time of this game.)

Game 2:

Game 3 was against a IM rated about 2670.

Game 3:

Game 4:

Game 5 was against another IM. I lost this game pretty convincingly but it also didn't help that I was a minute and a half late to the game in 3/1.

Game 5:

Game 6 I was (completely) winning vs a GM and messed it up! I could not annotate the 6th game because the URL was not working.

Game 6:

Game 7 was against an FM rated 2280. I won!

Game 7:

Round 8 I crushed an FM pretty quickly in the Sicilian Najdorf!

Round 9 was a disaster!

As you can see this was a very up and down tournament! I scored some amazing wins, and lost some painful losses, but at the end I learned a lot and had fun! I hope you enjoyed this post! (I enjoyed making it). Thank you for reading. See you soon!
