Brilliant Combinations #1
Hi guys, Today I'm going to be sharing some challenging, and brilliant combinations, from famous games! The exercises in this post are from all different time periods. Try your best to solve all of them, and make sure to share your answers by commenting!
Position 1:
The combination above, has been shown many times. I just wanted to show it from my point of view. It was also a very challenging combination, so I don't expect everyone to solve the whole thing, but try your best to push yourself to the limits!
Position 2:
The combination above is an amazing combination! I would highly recommend checking out the full game, which can be found on: https://www.chess.com/players/akiba-rubinstein
Position 3:
The third exercise, (the one shown above) was pretty easy compared to the other exercises in this post. The third exercise, is a classic though, so I decided to show it. Congrats if you solved it!
Position 4:
The position above, is also quite popular. It's just another brilliancy from the former World Champion: Emanuel Lasker! Make sure to check out more of Emanuel Lasker's games at: https://www.chess.com/players/emanuel-lasker
The next position was played by perhaps the best chess player of all time, Robert Fischer! Robert Fischer is known for many things: His World Championship victory in 1973 vs. Boris Spassky, His ''Game of The Century'' that he played when he was only 13 years old, and many other things. I could go on! So I'm going to show a bit less well-known combination played by Fischer. Make sure to check out his games at the following link: https://www.chess.com/players/bobby-fischer
Position 5:
A simple, but truly amazing combination!
This next position is not a combination, but I could not help, but share it, as it's one of my favorite moves in chess!
Bonus Position:
I made the positions mostly from the 1800-1900 Era this post!
