Daily 960 1800!

(You are welcome to report me for smuggling a random photo into my blog without proper "copyright")

Before I actually start to discuss daily 960, I would like to share with you my chess illness, kindly pointed out by our dear old friend @I-I_I-I:

So after learning about my chess illness and let's assume that you have the misfortune of playing against me in the future, if you think you should just resign all your games against me and gift me free points then you are on the right track! (If you have any doubts about this, just ask @I-I_I-I how painful it is to be my victim (he played and beat me not only once, but twice))

Back to daily 960, first I have to admit I play 960 rather poorly. Somehow I have no sense of opening play in 960: usually I'll make an unsounded sacrifice, thinking that I just made a brilliant move, then develop my pieces in random, aggressive fashion and start to assault my opponent's king (I call it "suicide attack"). And then, after more "sacrifices" and trades, I simply end up losing.

The way I play 960 is best illustrated by the following game:

And sometimes, after my unsounded play manages to confuse my opponent and things are going in my favors, I just blundered it away!

Of course, I am not the only guy who's getting outplayed, my attack can succeed sometimes!

And sometimes with luck...

Anyway, now you should be able to understand that it's already a tough fight for me to break 1700. Then how on earth did I suddenly reach 1800? By magic? Well, it's almost like magic, but I have to say that after I reached 1700 I have to deal with a completely different sort of players. Those players are strong, much higher rated than me, highly professional players that is. Yet they are easy to beat, the fights are completely lopsided. Who are they? They are the mysterious, legendary patzers who chose to start at "expert" level when they signed up at chess.com. So they have a profoundly high rating of "1800", yet they play like 1000. That, is how I gained 100 points with almost no efforts.

Two of my best patzers bullying games (my opponents were 1800, of course):

All this is reflected neatly in my rating graph:

After reading all these, you might think that I am just some random patzer who plays like a patzer. Yes, I am a patzer, but that doesn't mean I always play like patzer! So, finally, let me share two of my best played 960 games:

Thanks for your readings and hope you have a good day!

(P.S. If your name happens to be @I-I_I-I, I wish you fail your gaokao!)

(Hopefully I will reach 1900 soon since I have been dealing with "1800 experts" most of the times...)
