Hello Everybody, Since you guys are doing so well on the Vote Chess Leaderboard, I wanted to invite you to participate in the next season of the Fortnight Speed Vote League. We play Vote Chess at 10-mins per turn, which is incredibly intense, exciting, and addictive. It can also be very time consuming as an average game can last 7-10 hours (the longest game in Season 1 was over 21 hours), and SOMEONE needs to be online to make a move every 20 minutes (no one needs to be online for the whole game of course, as long as SOMEONE is there to stop the game from timing out). If this speed is too fast for you, I can completely understand, I just wanted to give you the opportunity of joining if you wanted to. Hey team, ive just been looking at a couple of groups home pages and have seen that you can get coloured/pictured backrounds! and coloured text etc. Now personally i dont know how to do these modifications, wether because im not a full time member or just cause i havent looked that far into it. So i was wondering if you guys/gals wanted to change this place up, make it more entertaining. So if anyone has any good ideas, let us (admins) know, and hopefully ADK or others know how to do these things thank you, St Jonathan

I think that we should hold a tournment for in order to increase interest in the group.  Tournment is Round Robin between all current members. So what's our group leader think about this idea?  

It seems to me that this Group's activity works like a roller-coaster... It goes up whenever someone encourages activity, BUT surely it goes back down again... AND that's where we are at right now! Let's try to spark some activity and hopefully the momentum will carry us to a constant active level. Any thoughts? ADK

So, I'm not quite sure how this works. Can only the group creator open new team match seeks and join our group into open seeks?

Hee, I want point out that the move Qa5! in Lightforce vs. Anime all the way indirectly wins the game! (but we have not enough votes...people voted 50% Rd3?) I'll explain: After 29...Qa5, whites best move is 30.Qf3 ( as to forcome 30..Qc3+ 31.Kb1, Qb2#) After 30.Qf3,...Rd3! ( and white has to give up his queen!). So everyone vote Qa5! :)

As you may have heard or seen, we are going to be having a VOTE on whether or not we should have a CAP on our Group, (the reason why we need one is in the GROUP NOTES.) We will VOTE on THREE things: 1. Should we have a CAP? 2. IF #1 IS passed, what will our Group's CAP be? (Example: 175) 3. Can we change the CAP by either getting rid of it, raising it, or lowering it? Please VOTE by saying YES or NO to each of the THREE and the reasons why you chose what you chose. NOTE: You do NOT have to vote if you do NOT want to. ADK

In case some of you didn't notice there is an open team match up against the Fast Players Club. We need about 15 more people on our side to fill up. So come join if you're up for some games.

Everyone, what do you want to major (I mean, a college major etc. you know a future career) in?  I surprised that people did not understanding.
