dont know if anyones suggested it yet but when the programming for live chess is finshed mabie the next project for androids could be chess mentor

What more is there to say?

Now that I have become completely converted over to my Android Chess app, I find that I only visit Chess.com once a week or so. So the positive is that the app is working great for me, the negative is that I have had to stop playing in Vote Chess matches as I never see that it is my move. It would be awesome if vote chess was available from the Droid as well. On an unrelated note, about every other time I open the app it does not log me in. When this happens, I close it and reopen it, and it always logs me in. Since it always logs me in the second time, it isn't really an issue for me, just thought you might want to know.

Have you noticed how the computer opponent is too weak? It always play the same moves, apparently has no opening book. And it's busted on a 5 and 10 seconds strength. When I have some time to spare (in train, during some boring presentation ...), I play against it, but it annoys me that it keeps playing the same openings over and over again. And I have a variation that will always win against 5-10 sec computer in under 15 moves. Other apps are better (aart bik chess, droidchess...).

Hi, I've got a Xperia X10 Mini and I'd like to run the Chess.com app for Android phones but it doesn't appear in the market, does anybody know what I can do to install it on my phone? Thanks.

I actually bought my phone to be on chess.com while I commute by train for 45mn every day. One feature that annoys me is that the application seems to check the server constantly and return to the game list when internet is not available. I would expect that on turn-based chess, the check is done when I click submit onl (of course on live chess the first behavior is appropriate). Similarly, the list of games is refreshed each time I visit it and in the above use case described above (commutting and unreliable internet on the way), selecting if and when to refresh would be a real benefit.

Hi all, I'm using this application on Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant phone with Android 2.1. There is a really annoying point on that application while playing as Black. The game board always comes just like you are white (white at the bottom) and every time you should flip it to see it from black's point of view. There is no such option in settings also. Do you know if there is such option will add into application or this display will be changed ? I don't think it's a tough change. Thanks.

Hi, When playing as Black, returning from analysis board puts White at the bottom of the screen when Black was previously at the bottom. HTC Desire HD running Froyo. Regards, Mark
