a streamer on chess.com was so disgustingly rude to me, and even though i blocked them, they still show up in the WatchChessTV queue!  she was, and probably still is, the rudest chess player i have ever met.  she misgendered me and denied it.  i actually viscerally hate this person.  can we please create a toggle to limit who can show up on the chessTV available streamers.please and thank you, jessica dangeli

I and some other old chess.com users like the old sidebar, but now it is a little bit big. My idea is that we can resize our bars like we want.

What if Chess.com makes an engine in every game that detects if you or your opponent misclicked? Just a thought...

it'd be interesting to see what puzzles everyone else is doing?  is there even a way to see who the best solvers, are?  personally, i play at least 50 puzzles before a game, as a regime,  to the point of, having to play chess.  i'm liking that i'm getting better at it!  i think the puzzle time could be like ten minutes, too.  please.

i'd like to be able to find my games with my highest accuracy.  i also wish my game history provided my accuracy, without going to game review.

If you're a Spotify listener, you know how at the end of the year they release your stats: your top artists and bands, your top 100 songs, and even how many total minutes you listened to music on their platform.   I’m not sure if Chess.com has done something like this before or plans to, but I would love to see a year-end recap for my chess activity. For example, it could show:   How many minutes (or hours) I played this year How many brilliant moves, great moves, inaccuracies, mistakes, and blunders I made My most common openings Which openings I win with the most Which openings I struggle against Maybe even fun milestones like longest win streak, best win by rating difference, how many en passants you did or biggest rating drop in one night…   I know there’s already a stats page that shows some of this, but having a single “Year in Review” summary would be such a cool way to look back at how much we’ve played and improved over the year. It would give players a quick snapshot of their progress and a little memory lane of their chess journey on Chess.com. Please share your thoughts on this on this idea!

So here's my question: what is the analysis based on? In this example, it considers that the move I just played was a brilliant one. All the king had to do was take the queen. It suggests a sequence of moves. But the opponent would not necessarily play the move shown in the sequence. In this second example, I have two brilliant moves. In this game, my goal was to checkmate the back-rater, which I succeeded in doing. I placed my bishop to force the opponent's bishop to capture my bishop. After checking with the queen to force the white rook to take the queen, the black rook took the white rook and back-rank mate. I can understand that. So, it seems that brilliant moves and move sequences are based on games played by grandmasters. I'm currently around 300 Elo. So here's my observation: when the analysis tells us that we can win a rook with a tactic and suggests a sequence of moves, a 2000 Elo player would understand, but at my current level, I'm incapable of doing so.

so i'm working at least 50 puzzles a day, ane well, i'd like the puzzles to reflect weaknesses in my game, so that i really start learning from game mistakes.  if i lose a game, i'd like to know that the puzzles are centered around my own learning from positions.

Imagine that there was a function that lets you buy chess pieces for chess.com for money or chess points that you earn playing matches in chess.com. There could also be like a pass that lets you unlock exclusive rewards every month, depending on the elo that you gain. Thanks for reading byeeee

Idea Summary:This is a visual enhancement idea for Chess.com: assigning rainbow colors to ELO rating ranges to help players better understand progress, motivation, and skill development—without changing the ELO system itself. Many players (especially beginners and intermediates) struggle to understand what their rating means. A color-based layer would make progress more intuitive and encouraging. The Rainbow Rating Concept The idea maps ELO ranges to rainbow colors, from beginner to elite, following a natural progression from base to mastery. Proposed Color Mapping 🔴 Red — 0–799Absolute beginners learning the basics. 🟠 Orange — 800–1199Players applying opening principles and reducing blunders. 🟡 Yellow — 1200–1599Tactical awareness, calculation begins. 🟢 Green — 1600–1999Strategic planning, endgame fundamentals, emotional control. 🔵 Blue — 2000–2299Strong national-level players with structured, disciplined play. 🟣 Indigo — 2300–2499FM / IM level. Deep preparation and abstract thinking. 🟣 Violet — 2500–2699Grandmasters, near-perfect execution. ⚪ Gold / White — 2700+Super-GMs. Elite world-class mastery. Why This Could Benefit Chess.com Makes ELO easier to understand for new players Adds motivation without rating inflation Works visually in: Player profiles Progress bars Achievements (e.g., “Reached Green Tier”) Especially helpful for younger players and self-learners Fully compatible with the existing rating system Important Clarification This proposal does not change: Rating calculations Matchmaking Competitive integrity It simply adds a visual language on top of the current system. Closing Thought:Ratings are numbers—but progress is a journey.Colors help players see where they are and where they’re going. Thanks for considering the idea!

Recently, many of the people I've been playing have attempted to stall out the game in the end in an attempt to make me resign. This doesn't change the game most of the time, but I like to play on the go and sometimes when other players do this, it causes me to be unable to play more or even finish the game. Please try to find a way to enforce the "no stalling" rule when checkmate is certain more.

I went to the profile of a player who asked me to be friends. I replied, I wanted to move the window but it stays in the same place. It would be unice to make it a window that you could move.

Diamond members gain a feature that is "play multiple matches at once" this allows players to "legally" cheat . And there's even an achievement for it , i don't know if chess.com is encouraging people to cheat or anything? Also , i'm not a diamond member so if you think i'm wrong about the feature or do you think it shoild be removed? Pls comment below your opinion. (sorry if i'm wrong)

I noticed some changes recently. Is there a way to follow / get notifications of planned changes in advance and when something gets rolled out?

Sometimes when I'm clicking through the moves with the little arrows in puzzles, I accidentally hit the hint button and lose rating when I would have gotten it right without help. In general the hint button is in the way and annoying so it needs to be updated or have an option in setting to remove it
