I posted about this in the Cheating Forum already, trying to determine if it is a problem just for me or if anyone else could attest to the scenario also. My conclusion is that there is no system generated or staff initiated acknowledgement of the receipt of the reports, unlike what I used to get. I used to get a two-fold acknowledgement. I am a fan of the saving of staff time, but how will we know if the system is even functioning properly, without at least a minimal amount of feedback ?
I used to send a report through the help portal and get an email acknowledgement. Then I started just using email directly, realizing the the help portal was tied in directly to the Chess.com email system. The new system, with the convenient push button ( see example )
...gives me no feedback of any sort. I have gotten no bans from my reports, since I started using it and want to make sure there are no glitches. I am also requesting some sort of system generated acknowledgement of receipt, and ideally a staff acknowledgement would be best.
BTW, to whom it may concern, I wasn't implicating @Brian-E, he just happened to be a convenient member, with whom I was discussing the problem.
