I know everybody is excited about the upcoming release of Windows 7, and I have seen lots of posts in our 3-word game about this. I am not saying that you can't talk about technology in other forums, I am just helping to move the discussion to a more easy to find location so that everybody can be involved.

I totally owned my opponent in a game in which I trapped their rook with my queen. Be careful when you have a rook, knight, and both pawns unmoved in this position, because your opponent might just try to threaten this trap!

This is a new game of counting to a million. The reason why is that here's how to count: Put your number into the function 2y=x(x + 1)/where x is any positive integer and y is the outcome. What you do when continueing the count is to take the previous outcome and subsitute it for x. x however may not equal 0 or 1. We therefore start at x=2. For example: Me: 2(2 + 1)/2=3 falling-upwards: 3(3 + 1)/2 = 6 BigOto: 6(6 + 1)/2 =21 What this function actually does is add x and all the integers between x and 0. If x=3, then it is 1 + 2 + 3=6 and if x=4, then 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10. When commenting however please use the function y=x(x + 1)/2. The goal is to reach a series above a million. After that we go for a billion. Let me start out here: (And also please do not try to predict when by solving the equation. It spoils the fun). 2(2 + 1)/2=3. No double-posts unless posting comments that aren't part of the count. You must count up as described by this post. Mess-ups bring it back to x=2.

See if you can find the best move(s) for black. Good luck!
I dragged all the pieces at once onto the board and created this position:

The Ruy Lopez is a chess opening beginning with the moves 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5. While this opening was was first noted in the Gottingen Manuscript around 1490, it is named after Ruy López de Segura, a 16th century Spanish priest who published a book on chess in 1561. His book, Libro del Ajedrez, included analysis of the opening which would later bear his name. The Ruy Lopez is regarded as one of white's best attempts to achieve an advantage in double king-pawn openings and is popular with both beginners and experienced players. It is commonly seen in games played at the grandmaster level. The key is to put pressure on the e5 pawn quickly. However, after 3...a6 4. Bxc6 dxc6 5. Nxe5 white gets into trouble with 5...Qd4! This opening is commonly called the Spanish Game outside of English speaking countries. Article from Chess.com Chessopedia.

Killer Biscuits Wanted For Attempted Murder Lisa Burnett, 23, a resident of San Diego, was visiting her in-laws, and while there, went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries. Several people noticed her sitting in the car with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head. One customer who had been at the store for a while became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Lisa's eyes were now open, and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Lisa replied that she'd been shot in the back of her head, and had been holding her brains in for over an hour. The man called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Lisa refused to remove her hands from her head. When they finally got in, the found that Lisa had a wad of bread dough on the back of her head. A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making loud noises that sounded like gunshots, and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brain. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered and tried to hold her brain in for over an hour until someone noticed and came to her aid. Lisa is blonde... From: http://failblog.org/page/6/

Let's say the goal of chess is for white, to get the king to the other side of the board, for black, to block white from ever getting to the other side. There are two kings on the same file. The side that wins all depends on whose move it is. for example: However, if it is black's turn to move, white wins.
