So today, I played a game with the chess computer "Wally". The game ended with white (me) winning by checkmate in 57 moves. When I went to check the analysis, I found that I played with an 80-something percent accuracy. While this is good, regardless of the opponent, I was wondering how I beat an 1800-rated chess computer. Keep in mind that I'm only 660 rapid, 750 blitz, and 200 bullet (I suck at speed chess). This means the chess bot supposedly has more than twice my level of chess institution. This led me to think that these bots are "overrated", and should be matched with a lower rating. There are, however arguments against this, so maybe this will turn into a debate? Here's the game:

This event had huge publicity, and greatly increased global interest in chess in the 1970's. The match was seen as a metaphor for the cold war, when tensions between the US and Russia were still high. Despite his erratic performance, the American Bobby Fischer beat the Russian Boris Spassky, becoming a legend and serving as an inspiration for millions of Americans. This is the first game, which Fischer lost, probably due to his over-confidence and desire to prove himself. He forfeited the second game, then came back from his two early losses to win the match. Shown from Fischer's perspective, with the black pieces, because why not? He was seen as the challenger in this match, with the most to prove, so let's look at this first game of the match, where he blundered a draw into a loss, from the challenger's perspective.

This is a forum game where you blow off some steam by writing a letter to someone who has made you mad, telling them why you're angry (it doesn't have to be real), and then instead of sending it to them you post it here just for the funnies. Here's an example: Dear Netflix, I didn't want to renew my subscription this month. The information you provided about it led me to believe I had until today to cancel my subscription, but when I logged on to cancel it, IT WAS ALREADY RENEWED! NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER MONTH OF BAD TV I DON'T WANT TO WATCH! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Okay, there you go. Now you send one. It doesn't have to be as nice as mine was. You can really let your dark side take over if you want. Just for the funnies, though. I don't want to have to pay Chess.com a fine for letting people talk too aggressive in the club.

Hi members! I'm trying to improve the club, so please take the time to answer some questions for me if you would like to be able to have more fun in the club! 1. In a brief statement, what first motivated you to join the club? 2. What were your earliest expectations of the club when you joined, and how has the club lived up to your expectations? 3. On a scale of 1-10, please rate your interest level in reading or commenting in each of the following types of forum:a. Chess lessonsb. Puzzles and gamesc. Forum games (ask the person below you, etc.)d. Cultural discussions (media, art, politics, etc.) 4. What is your level in interest in participating in competitive chess events? (Again on a scale of 1-10) 5. What level of moderation would you like to see in the club, from a 1: Very friendly environment focused mostly on chess, to a 5: Completely unmoderated, anything goes that doesn't violate chess.com's site-wide policies. I want this club to be able to help you meet some of your personal ambitions, whatever they may be. Therefore, it needs to be structured so that any member with a vision of what they would like to do can come in and find a way to work for that vision. By answering this survey, you can help us understand better what different people's visions are, so we can transform the club into something that makes those visions a reality. Thanks for your time. If there's anything I left out of the survey that you would like to see in the club, please include that in your comment.

From 1902, when Capablanca was 12. He had the black pieces, and won against a little-known variation of the King's Gambit employed by a much older player. White resigned after move 26. Try to find out what black's winning moves would be after 27. Kd1. If you would like to see more of these, upvote or leave a comment. Thanks!

I think that we should make an election for owner, and everybody should be allowed to participate.  Still we should focus on making the club better as our top priority.  When will the election be?

If there is a club you would like to challenge to vote chess or a team match tournament, please post the name of the club here along with the reason you think they would make a good match for us. Thank you!
