You can download books from the "Documents" menu only. Normally the site requires a subscription of about $9USD/month, but if you take advantage of their 30-day Free Trial offer, then of course, you can use the site for free during that period.

I really love using the books on Chessable, since there is tons of stuff there, some free some paid so you can choose whatever you like. From the free ones I really enjoyed https://www.chessable.com/the-magnus-touch-free-strategy-lesson/course/40115/ they do tons of stuff with Magnus now

Be careful about checking the copyright before you take these "free" books. Some are public domain, some are not.
