I would suggest a wooden walnut/maple folding chess board from House of Staunton. It has the algebraic notation. If you like to slide pieces it won't work because of the small seam in the middle. Carry cases are made to carry the fold up & full size boards as well.

I'm looking for Wooden Numbered chess boards. Maybe the correct term wood be wooden Tournament board. Preferably sold by an on-line shop in Australia, but I do like looking at what's avalable anywhere in the world. So, maybe I'm asking for where you buy your chess books and sets and know of an on-line shop that others may find useful. I can easily do a Google search but others reading this post might want to post there favourite on-line shop that stock a set or board that I might be interested in, and doesn't come up in the searches I'm doing. I already have a vinyl tournament board and a wooden numbered board 28.5 x 28.5 cm but I'm looking for a good wooden tournament board.
