The History of My Life by Giacomo Casanova. The book is normally 1428 pages. But if you buy the version with the pictures, explanations and exercises it is double.

Well, if multiple volumes counts, I am on page 5,665, book 18 (of 21) volume 5 in the Complete Aubrey & Maturin Novels by Patrick O'Brian.

I've got you beat! I've read all 21 volumes three times. They're much better the second and third times- I couldn't believe how many subtle things I'd missed the first time through. :D

Probably the Bible.

Sword of Shannara books. About 700 pages each with 14 books total I think. Great science fiction/fantasy series.

besides some life science [biology, psychology, chemistry] textbooks, a few of which I have read or almost read cover to cover:

David Copperfield by Dickens was a long read given his predilection towards flowery language, I believe his writing was sold and read by chapter at the time.  Anna Karenina by Tolstoy I recall was quite long as well.  Not the greatest entertainment value per page I admit.

When I was very young I read several collections of fairy tales and a book that I do not recall much, regarding the flags of the world, which detailed the histories of all the world's countries.

man that's a shame, i think anna karenina is incredible. much better than war and peace and easily in my top five

Remembrance of Things Past.

Don't.

Yes, I, like a poster above, read word for word Vincent Bugliosi's Reclaiming History, along with all the fine footnotes in the end.  The text itself is about 1700 pages of quite small type.  The funny thing was, it was a relatively quick and enjoyable read.

The book is about debunking every single conspiracy theory propounded in years past concerning the Kennedy assassination in 1963.  I recommend it highly and I think I thought the book out of the "cut out bin" at a local bookstore for well under cover price.

Stephen King's It is over 1000 pages in paperback. Come to think of it, a lot of his books are bricks.
