A New Opening Repertoire When You MUST Win With Black

When I wrote a book on the Universal Attack in 1999, here is where you will not find it: A Complete Defensive System Black to Move and Win by GM Andy Soltis or Winning With the Modern by GM David Norwood or in Modern Defense by Ken Smith and NM John Hall. It should also be noted that UA structures are found extremely rarely in ECO, BCO, BCO 2, or MCO 12 and 13.

I have organized some 250 separate games where this opening is played into a coherent opening system, the first time this has been done to the best of my knowledge.

What turned people off to the system is games like Fancy-Pickering from Groteske Schachedroffnungen Wagnis mit Methode by Stefan Bucker i.e. 1.e4 g6 2.d4 Bg7 3.Nc3 e6 4.Be3 Ne7 5.Qd2 O-O? (h6) 6.h4 h5 +/-

Here is a way to back into the UA. This was played at 120/40 with Fritz 8's opening book turned off to even the odds.

The UA works best against the English

. Here Fritz 10 made a positional error in the opening (something class players are known to do on occasion!) and Black equalized easily. You will note the shallow depths of the tactics brought about by the good piece coodination of Black. A general rule of thumb is that the poorer your piece coordination the deeper the tactics by a computer.

i think i will give a better example when kasparov needed to win the last match to retain the title he played the least aggressive opening a one which had a small but lasting advantage not a flashy opening in which the advantage is soon GIVEN AWAY please refer that game ...............

Isn't this system here basically the Modern Defense?

TwoMove

The OP has made some optimal adjustments to the modern defense, for when black wants to get sloughtered.
