This is a common misconception. The lavender unicorns are actually the most masculine ones. Being an equal society, but one with residual matriarchal traditions, the pink ones tend to be the highest-ranking.

Outside the flushing of the skin resulting from realizing one's poor play, not that's been documented. Sampling is sparse because chess has been mostly banned throughout unicorn society--which is why it functions so well.

Of course.  All unicorn chess is underground, hence the term "Unicorn Mole."   The black market on pawns and pieces is quite lucrative however.   This secretive nature not only makes any scientific study difficult but the results questionable, particularly given the poor underground lighting.
