i think it is the scotch gambit.
or the scotch game
this is how the scotch gambit continues
HERE is all that a beginner needs to know about the opening.
This is true. But we often reach a situation like this
I find this solid. But it locks the c-pawn, which I feel is crucial in breaking open the centre and going to a good middlegame

If you want the center open, why do you play d3? Play d4 instead.
Moreover, in this particular position black has already made a bad mistake with d6. White should play 5. Ng5.

This is a situation which happens when mechanical moves are played.
- Black's 4...d6 is bad because it ignores the threat Ng5. Such a threat isn't dangerous without a Black knight at c6, but here it is: Black will lose a pawn without sufficient compensation (it is a book position after 5.Ng5 d5 6.exd5 Na5, but with an extra Nc3 move for white as the d pawn went to d5 with two steps instead of one). Better moves are the direct equalizer 4...Nxe4, or 4...Bc5 which keeps more pieces on the board.
- After 5.d3?! Black should exploit the inaccuracy and play 5...Na5! to get rid of the annoying Bc4 (here ...d6 fits perfectly, as it protects the e5 pawn). 5...Bg4 is not much of anything after 6.h3.
