I just found a new one:

1.d4...Nf6, 2.c4...Nc6 = Black Knights Tango.  I would call it the Dark Knights Tango, but I really don't see me playing this one.

But then I didn't see me playing the Creepy Crawly Opening either until my nephew came over and used it on me.  I've got both his bishops, a knight and a pawn, all my pieces are still on the table (10-0), and he's smileing at me like I'm walking right into his trap.  He says he's beaten a lot of kids in his chess club with the Creepy Crawly Opening.  Stay tuned for how this one turns out.

Na3-Sodium attack. Excellent opening variations with chemistry connections, in which case does anyone know of any variation involving the knight on the e-file (neon - Ne). This would surely be less reactive than the sodium attack! Likewise, is there a variation with the rook on the b-file (rubidium - Rb) as this would be more explosive than any sodium attack! Lastly, what about linking the length of any possible attack to the half-life of an element. A short lived rook attack on the g-file would be ideal for roentgenium (Rg) with its half life of 26 seconds!
