I recently had this in a Tourney game and I was not at all happy with my position in the opening.

I didnt like this position at all.Can I get some suggestions as to how to play against this system against the Dutch.

12...d5 looks fine since White traded off the light-squared bishops and you get a free tempo.

One option would be to go leningrad dutch, which is good against colle. Second option, maybe even better than leningrad, is to transpose into stonewall. Those are some sample lines based on stonewall setup.

NICE

I know this an older posting, but ...

I don't think you need to change systems and start having to learn entirely new material.

I did not like Nxd2.  Why trade off your nicely posted knight and help White reposition his fairly useless knight on f3?

Just develop Be7 and O-O.

Even earlier, you played Nd7.  If you leave the knight on b8 it covers a6.  Instead play Be7 and again O-O.  As long as you control/occupy e4, there is not much White can do.  Simon Williams talks about how often the queenside pieces are slow to develop in the Classical Dutch.

And I should add, after Be7, Black could plan to play Bf6, Qe7, and push e5.
