MCO 16?

Are there any plans for a 16th edition of MCO?  Or is the format now considered irrelevant?

It's been fourteen years since the 15th volume came out, and before that there had never been a gap of more than ten years.  Has Random House given up?

Prob not, as new in chess is stopping production of their yearbooks.

There is a chance that if enough people ask about it though they could

do something for the 20th anniversary..

MCO was great in its heyday, but these days, most players use online databases for their opening references and study.

That’s my guess too, but I was hoping someone might have actual information. Maybe you could argue the forces that made New In Chess (and Informator before it) obsolete aren’t quite relevant here. Plus it’s a different publisher.
