This gambit is called the Rosentreter Gambit. It is possible to transpose this into the Haxo Gambit. It has been recorded to have happened 74 times in master games since 1900. It's latest appearance was in the Battle d'Elite this February.

I looked into this, and what you said is incorrect. In the haxo gambit or rosentreter gambit, you only gambit 1 pawn, but in this, you gambit 3.

Thanks for giving it a try. As for your comment before this one, I'm still thinking of a name for it.

->8. “Nf6” is the advantage trap......Black has the advantage from the start,One bad move from black and white would easily win. This gambit is a bit difficult for humans to handle.

So Nc3 is prolly a mistake and white would snatch the advantage from black

->8. Bxc3+ would lead to an ALMOST equal position - stockfish

->8. Nge7 would probably be another mistake from black as Queen would invade into blacks position and collapse him entirely!

->12.Be3 would still lead to an almost equal position with both kings being unable to castle. But still whites king is somewhat safe

->12. Kf1 is pretty solid and it reduces unnecessary moves like Be3,Qf5,Kf1

I’m happy that I’m a part of your new gmbit!

P.S: Nno human can perfectly execute this gambit and win as white ,unless black makes a stupid mistake and loses.I have gone deep into the moves and realized one thing!

“One bad move from either side decides the outcome of this game”

All moves have to be so precise for white to continue,And black has to defend with almost 97.9 % accuracy to win against this gambit.

Thanks for this interesting take on the gambit. I also think the thing you said about 1 mistake determining the game would benefit white more than black, because will presumably no more about the gambit

Doesn’t seem to offer white much. I’d rather play the Halloween.

Here's a "trap" that one of my opponents just fell into. While the material is technically even, I have a massive lead in development. Here it is:

I see. Is there anything specific that you dislike?

The whole line does not look terribly good, and anyway this is of no great significance: 4.d4 Bxd4! is a more principled reply.

Here's a revised version of the Christmas Gambit
