Thank you! I do like fianchetto type setups, and these do seem solid without immediately losing, but I'd prefer something where I could gain more of an advantage, especially as white?

I still blunder all the time (and I know that's the biggest thing I've got to fix to advance to the next level), but I also don't have a consistent repertoire of any kind.
I spend way too much time evaluating opening positions, when I know I should just be bashing out moves automatically for common openings.
Can anyone recommend some good openings for my level?
reti's opening is great cuz its flexible and you choose what type of position you play
Both the Reti and English look solid, but seem intimidating because they seem so open-ended (especially Reti) - it feels like they could develop in so many different directions, and that would require me to be comfortable in many different positions?
I do play the Italian game a lot. I wish I could play the Evans Gambit every time because it's so fun, but people usually end up playing Nf6 instead of Bc5.
