do you really as a NM want to be banned from this fourm?

ghost_of_pushwood

Well, what I really want to know is:  what is the point of this thread?  Is this supposed to be some kind of referendum, like an initiative to get on a ballot?  At any rate, it all looks pretty half-baked--like something out of junior high.

ghost_of_pushwood

You mean you're advocating that he blog more?  Or is Top Blogger an actual position on the site?

i think they mean to vote that he's the best blogger

Top Bloggers get their content displayed at Chess.com -> Share -> Blogs and cycled through the front page of the site. You have to apply for the status.

ghost_of_pushwood

Aha!  Now I get it. grin.png  But does this count as an application?  And will the site staff likely be reading this thread?

We send it to them when @FangBo re does a email to them saying to be a top blogger

batgirl

This is pointless (unless attention rather that results is the goal)

If he wants to be issued a Top Blogger status, he needs to go to the Blog Authors page and follow the appropriate link to apply: https://www.chess.com/blog/authors

Snow-Wolf-8

Listen to batgirl. You don't need to make a voting forum.

UM Chess.com kind of said in the email back to him "We need to make sure you already have the amount of people to see your posts if you become a top blogger"
