Hikaru Nakamura is better than Magnus Carlsen?
Discussions like this is why I am so hyped for March 15. I am even more hyped for the wave of analysis videos my favorite content creators will make after the conclusion of the WCC.

What black text? In that meme or somewhere else?

Is Mar 15, 2021 when the candidates tournament resumes?
Not sure, I am most definitely wrong. I don't know if the Championship match's details (time, location, etc.) are finalized, I just remember that I read about Dubai being the likely host of the tournament in early 2019. I just moved the dates up.
Welp, what I mean by better is that when they play each other Magnus wins more than Naka. Also, Magnus has multiple speed chess world championships. Naka hasn't won his first world championship yet.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. They've played matches twice on here, same event, The Magster won both matches.
only if he avoid hikaru
This is their head to head record. ![]()

5-0 in blitz, 14-1 in classical and 1-1 in rapid (not counting the draws of course), he lost 3 times to Nakamura in the entire career in FIDE events and you say this is not an argument? Ok, I respect that view.
You are saying that 87 games is not enough ... well then we should wait for them to play 2 000 games to declare who is better, because it is certainly a moot point at present time. ![]()
My opinion, is that Hikaru is better at blitz chess, theyŕe around equal in rapid chess, but Magnus is superior in classical, where it really matters.
How can he be better if it is 5-0 for Carlsen in blitz in their official FIDE matches (with 16 draws)?
Sure, you must be right. He is so creative that he found 21 different aggressive ways not to win a blitz game against boring Carlsen.
100 games? Nakamura is in his early thirties, they will most likely never play 100 official blitz games if they've played 21 by now.
Attitude: Hikaru wins. Chess: Magnus.
I think the early fame and pressure has made Magnus kind of an out of touch player when it comes to handling his emotions and being a good sport. He has graceful moments sure, but overall you can tell he is kind of a chess snob. The thing I can think of off the top of my head is Hikaru took time to coach regular streamers like xqcow1, and has really added to the influx of people interested in chess in 2020. Where as Magnus made some pretty out of touch comments regarding Hikaru's coaching of regular streamers... One player is actively seeking to get more people into chess, where as another is actively gatekeeping chess. That to me instantly makes @hikaru way more likable.
