Glicko RD in variants

In chess.com variants, you have a rating and a rating deviation (RD) for each time control (rapid, blitz, bullet, and hyper, just like in standard chess).

So I looked at my RDs today and they don't make any sense.

My atomic blitz stats:

My atomic rapid stats:

.

If I'm not wrong, this means my skill level in atomic blitz is as high as 2124 right now, but my skill level in atomic rapid is as high as 2224. A 100 pt difference is huge when your rating is past 2000, so it doesn't make any sense that I'm wayyy better at rapid when it's the same game and I never win (by never I mean 5 in 1000 games) by time in either time control.

So I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it wasn't rlly helpful:

^^ xD so true

(useless stuff was removed)

.

I'm super confused. Can anyone help explain this?

I'm pretty sure glicko RD is just by how many points your rating may vary; if I had a rating of 500 and a glicko RD of 100, what the system would be saying would be that I have a rating of 500 with an error of +/- 100, or a rating ranging from 400 to 600.

So if your rating has changed recently by a significant amount the system would probably give you a higher glicko RD

RD is for Rating Deviation. The smaller the RD, the more accurate your rating is, and therefore will change less after your next performance result is factored into the equation.
