I believe the normal thing to do when a player withdraws is that his opponent advances. (nobody takes the place of a player who leaves the tournament).
I haven't been following all these games too closely. If there's a game that needs a mod please let me know. I can mod one game (in addition to two games that I'm playing).

MathsMaths, are you OK playing a game with spirit? An example game is (here).
Here is the tournament rule:
All games are bulldog with witch unless both opponents agree to a different bulldog variation (must have been played at least once).
So if you agree then you and McGoohan can play with spirit.

Martin0, the game you show has witch and spirit. My assumption was McGoohan suggested witch and guard.
If both players already agreed then I have no problem. But we should clarify before the game actually starts. (Sorry if this has already been discussed and agreed).

I guess the question is whether we should put him back in the tournament to play against ry or if it is too late after I called ry winning by forfeit.

I won against @vickalan. All games in round 1 are now completed.
I will play white against @ChessPlayerwithskilz in the winners bracket
@Togishere will play white against @vickalan in the losers bracket.
