Hmm... is there a way to make a simple downloadable pdf with all the boards?

Last time I attempted to install Java it failed...

Please don't quit 😰 I need people to help me get this working!

Here is a good video tutorial for installing Java on Windows 10.

Maybe make your program more flexible, so places with 1 piece has a... 5x5 or something.

it's just too time consuming to pan to every single spot that needs a shot taken...

HorribleTomato

Maybe like a website that shows all the images and giving yourself admin command to change them?

HorribleTomato

It would work like chess.com posting boards, but with increased size.

I have a problem- I use a chromebook most often. BTW, naviary-you're a genius.

HorribleTomato

I think chromebook is windows.

HorribleTomato

Actually websites may be pretty good, accessible by mobile devices and pcs.

Naviary

I can't afford a website.

HorribleTomato

HorribleTomato

But those are probably too simple. You're right.

Thanks 😊

The thing with chromebooks is you can't install Java on them... which ya need.

There still is a way to install Java on a chromebook though! It requires first entering developer mode, this will erase anything you have stored locally (or in the downloads folder?), but I think chromebooks store stuff on the cloud anyway. Here's a video tutorial on how to enter developer mode. After that, here's a tutorial on installing Java JDK on a chromebook.

TOO MANY TUTORIALS!!!

Eh... the problem is, it's a school chromebook, which means I can't mess around with it. Also, chromebooks use chrome os, not windows.

But having a picture of my area will not help, as I can not know if I can capture pieces in the other areas

not help much... but might be enough to keep you in the game long enough until you have computer access.

Mobile phones can't download files.

Even if I could get a website. I'd still have have to re-write my entire app. I don't have the months right now to take learning a new coding language seriously, I would quickly forget what I learn. No for the website option now.

About half of everyone has access to a java-compatible computer... And then they'd have to set up my app on their computer. If we did switch to game files, I would be willing for those who couldn't play anymore to covert all their pieces into 100% of their point-worth for rejoining later in the future with a new army the same strength of their army when they left.

But if majority people vote to continue with pictures, I suppose I will agree to that, but that means I'm gonna have to drop down to 2 or 3 days per update. I will still be trying to think of ways to make the updates more efficient.
