Please can you check who was posting in this forum starting from mid night GMT to 7 AM GMT.

You will notice that topics from this forum where floating in the most recent window for 40+ minutes.

As soon as those topics dropped off the list a person would log on and post to get more topics into that list and then log off.

This pattern is repeated all through the night every single day of the week.

I refer you to the Report Spam HERE! topic.

I first posted in that topic TWENTY days ago BEFORE I posted a single thing in this forum.

A lot of my posts in that topic have been removed by the moderators, I was showing them something.

You can no longer see all the posts, most have been removed by the moderators, but support can still see everything because the database records are not actually deleted, they are just marked as deleted.

Did you know that ALL the moderators watch that topic like HAWKS.

Yeah, he's gone. But he'll still be watching. You can be sure of that.

At any rate... Ko Shogi (go/xiangi/shogi hybrid) have these weird cannons that can move a set number of squares and 'fire' at pieces up to X number of squares. A lot of pieces in larger shogi variants have really weird ways of promoting, I think in Ko shogi certain pieces promote when they capture a general? I can't remember off the top of my head.

Slightly off-topic: I like Ko shogi as a concept but I think it's poorly executed, as a lot of larger shogi variants tend to be. Maybe it might be worth a shot trying crazyhouse xiangqi? That would drastically alter the boring xiangqi theory that I've been reading up on.

HorribleTomato

A "parrot" for bulldog. The parrot is placed where the witch once was, and it moves like a king. When it reaches a guard, the parrot has the option to "attach" to the guard, therefore increasing the defensive ability of the guard.

EndgameEnthusiast2357

A piece that alternates moving like a bishop and a knight every move

hitthepin
Yes, we’ll call it the kishop.
HorribleTomato

An "assassin"

moves like queen/knight/hawk(jumps)/assorted larger Ls (see diagram) but can't capture- can only give check/checkmate

HorribleTomato

Also "sacrifice" moves like pawn, can't capture, but if the pawn is attacked by another pawn/knight, that pawn/knight must take it.

THE PACIFIST

- Can move like the queen

- When the Pacifist captures a piece, the captured piece will not be removed from the board. Instead the pacifist can chose where to place the captured piece (must be a free square).

- Check and check mate rules does not apply for the pacifist

- The pacifist is the only piece that can capture the king

THE PROSELYTIZER

- Can move like the king

- When the Proselytizer captures a piece, the captured piece will be a) moved to the square where the Proselytizer stood, then b) converted to the opposite color, and then c) be transformed to a pawn. If the now newly converted piece is place in that colours pawn promoting row, pawn promotion will occur the same round.

Gil-Gandel

The Mimic. Whenever it becomes adjacent to another piece it acquires the power of that piece (choose if more than one). If it moves to a square where it has no neighbours (or all neighbours move away from it) then it loses all power of movement until something again moves next to it.

HorribleTomato
the illusionist- moves like K+N, cannot capture- BUT, at any time given, costing 1 turn, it can summon a decoy pawn i.e I@ (summon)(coordinates) for example, I @ c4 and a decoy pawn was spawned, therefore making check invalid

The crippled hawk: jumps two squares in any direction.
HorribleTomato

the overzealous hawk jumps 3/5 squares in any direction

THE JOKER

Moves like the bishop. Every time the Joker Checks the King, the table is turned.

THE TRADE UNIONIST

Moves like the Rook, but have the ability to transform into six pawns, but only if the Trade unionist is placed in row 2or 3 for white and row 6 or 7 for black, and only if there are six or more free squares (in row 2 or 3 or 6 or 7 respectively. The pawns will be placed in the squares closest to the squares occupied by the Trade Unionist.

Waredude

I don't know what to call this piece yet, but still, it can move orthogonally 1-2 spaces and can capture up to three adjacent pieces. It can't move backwards and it replaces the a and h pawns.

The jr bishop, it can move 2 spaces diagonally and 3 when capturing another piece (*It jumps them like in checkers*) it cannot be used to put the king in check. And is placed in btween the bishops and rooks.

the jr rook, it can move 2 spaces oroganlly and 3 when capturing* and is placed between the bishops and the rooks.

the Queen's Daughter, it can move up to four squares in any direction and it can move like a knight (maybe?)

it is placed on the other side of the king (opposite of the Queen)

hitthepin
What if there was a piece that could turn enemy pieces into allied pieces?
