Actually what I searched was 'bulldog chess board diagram setup,' and it was the first result for me. I started a thread, and somewhere on this forum I found a link to a musketeer chess board painter, but I don't find any witch or guard... but it might still work. Anyway I started a thread, you can go first .

You mean after every move make another image? If that's what you all are saying, yes, I can do that, and I already have a thread set up, but thanks anyway, JohnHS. But I might be misunderstanding you. I am new here, after all .

Alright, if you can do that, sure!  Can you provide the link here?  I'd like to watch it.  Here are all the pieces on both color squares, btw (so you can copy and paste when a piece moves from one color square to another).

Who wants to play a event chess for fun?

What exactly is event chess?

If no one else wants too, I'll play. But I'm in 3 games starting Saturday, so I can't be sure.

At the moment, I am playing no games.  However, I like Bulldog better.  Would you like to play Bulldog with Witch, Junebug?  You were once World Champion, I was a contender for the World Championship.  It would be quite a match!

Event chess is a variant I believe was created by Martin0. You can check his blog for rules. And sure, I'd be willing to play a match of witch, if you are

Yes, I invented Event chess.  The basic rules are quite simple:

Game rules:

Game starts like a normal chess game with 2 additional rules:

1. Each player may once/game start an event during his turn before making a move (Just say "start event").
2. A player may not capture more than 2 pieces that are not pawns before starting an event (This is to make sure both players need to start an event).

Note that each player starting one event means a game will become a combination of 2 events.

Other rules of this game are identical with rules of classical chess.

When an event starts it will be chosen randomly from over 100 events and consists of some sort of rule changes to the game. More about event chess can be read here.
