I’m not THAT early. Tons of stuff happened here before I did:
JuneyJunebug (now Junebug444) became the world champion.
Martin0 beat Juney and became the world champion.
The Infinite Plain tournament began.
Eight pages of this forum were written.
The Guard, The witch, the time thief, and the joker were all created.
Ivan became the Waterloo world champion.
And so on.... Point being, I didn’t get here much earlier than you did!

Also, I have won my game against @SuperSam1. I managed to play a fancy checkmate which used both the time thief and the witch (and a rook).

These storms have been fun. It's pretty calm out there right now but there's plenty of snow. Apparently the news showed a 15 foot drift (4,5m) in the town next to me, can't find an article though. I'm gonna go and investigate my garden, I was at a metre yesterday and we've had fresh snow overnight.
My game with vickalan is getting close to the end, so unless someone else want to play with @Junebug444, then I can play. I'm always willing to moderate event chess games.
