I am writing this post to bring attention to a deeply disturbing experience I recently had on this platform. While I understand that competitive games can sometimes lead to "trash talk," there is a clear and absolute line between competitiveness and the spread of extreme hate speech.
I encountered a player who used horrific antisemitic slurs, called for genocide, and made light of self-harm. I have attached the screenshots to this post as evidence (with some parts blurred if necessary, though the severity speaks for itself).
As a member of this community, it is painful to see Chess.com being used as a platform for such vile rhetoric. This isn't just about a single bad interaction; it's about the safety and inclusivity of the environment we all share. No one should be subjected to threats or dehumanization based on their identity or where they live.
I have already submitted a formal report through the game interface, but I felt it was important to raise this here as well. I believe that for Chess.com to remain a professional and welcoming place for players worldwide, there must be a zero-tolerance policy for this level of toxicity.
I hope the moderation team takes swift and severe action in this case, and I’d like to hear from the community on how we can better combat this ongoing issue.
Thank you for your time.

It's good that you reported them already. We don't need screenshots in the public forums, but thank you for reporting them and keeping chess.com the great chess community it is! - V39
