TLDR: I mouse slipped and raged
Am I right to be mad here?

You can be mad at yourself, but you shouldn't take out your anger on your opponent for something that was your fault.

Misclicks aren't anyones fault though I expected him to have some sympathy over something I had no control over

Well.... if u think about it, if ur opponent had accepted the draw out of sympathy then it sets a precedent that u could just continue to claim any mistake was a mouse slip and want the same treatment any time. So maybe play with an increment of a few seconds to give urself time to be careful.

You mouse slipped, we all do.
Everyone makes mistakes. Own yours. Your opponent owes you nothing. I wouldn't have accepted your draw offer either. I also wouldn't make on offer after I screwed up.
a) it's possible you win after
b) you mouse-slipping isn't related to your opponent's play
c) stalling in any circumstance is bannable
d) you're just salty
yes, you're right to be mad there, no, you're not right to stall or demand your opponent draw with you

Chess is a very brutal game. In online chess, one of the risks is that you may mouse slip during a game. I remember I had an experience similar to yours. I made an obvious mouse slip and I thought it would be a good sportsmanship to accept a draw and allow a rematch. However, what I learned is that people are not obligated to take mercy even when it comes to innocent mistakes Like misclicks and mouse slips. It happens to the best of them. Magnus Carlson recently mouse slipped his Queen against hikaru in a game And he most certainly didn't ask for a rematch or protest that the result was unfair because of a mouse slip. It's part of the nature of online chess. You simply have to be more careful. Easier said than done especially when you're down on the clock , but that's part of the beast in online chess. And you should probably make yourself comfortable with that because most of your opponents that you face will not have mercy on your mistakes, much less on your mouse slips.
I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear, but I'm not in the business of placating people.
Good luck on your journey buddy.

I regained my elo anyway so it doesn't really matter anymore to me. Thanks for the advice though

So I recently played a rapid game and managed to be 4 pawns up in the middle game, I then went onto a bishop and queen endgame, where I had the pawn advantage. I tried to do a check and then mouse slipped my queen he took then I said in chat it was a mouse slip and offered a draw, he ignored and declined the draw. Instead of resigning I got mad and stalled for 7 minutes until I ran out of time. This sounds a bit childish but I was mad that a mouse slip cost me 8 elo
Getting mad isn't a right. It's a mental disorder.
Stalling for 7 minutes and sound childish are just minor symptoms.

Kinda weird your calling raging over a game a mental disorder other than that I get your point

You are literally in control over your mouse, though. But yeah, I feel your pain. I've lost plenty of games due to mouse slips and can only blame myself.
