Is there a Cliffnotes version to this post? I get sleepy after the third paragraph.
Homepage abuses

Thanks all for keeping the thread on the front page. Nice photos, I have already seen the one posted by TheGrobe. I'd consider using it as an avatar except it could be "potentially offensive"!
I don't know if the thread had anything to do with it, but the bully has been muzzled. All "her" comments from the tournament pages have been removed as well as all the notes on "her" homepage, even the non-accusatory ones. I'm pleased chess.com takes conduct seriously, and I would like to thank whomever took action.
Cheers and best to you all

Seems like cheese and an apple and an eighth. Anyway, thanks for the offer, but I prefer kittens in boobs.

Wow that is a really long post.
It is, indeed.
It was able to hold my attention right up to the end of the phrase "Before I get into the subject"

Having an attention span of six words is not something most people would be proud of, but thanks for letting us know.

Very thorough analysis presented by the OP.
Now you know why the USCF Rule Book is 250+ pages.
Keep up the good detective work. You're quite good at it. The site needs more folks like you. I liked your "big shoulders" metaphor. Incisive.

The Trollhunter has hunted me down, I'm honoured.
It's funny how whenever I step on someone's toes they run to this thread and comment.
AndyClifton and I used to live in the same city, perhaps you'd like to "out" me too?

Not at all do I want to "out" you. What possibly for?
90 percent of my posts on this site "outside the current food fight" are (I believe) contructive and fairly analytical.
I contributed constructively to two separate threads by @uhohspagettio, who was "bashing" John Watson's book on Modern Chess Strategy, and "bashing everyone" in another thread on the QGA. I had a couple posts on the Two Knights Variation in the 2nd thread.
I hope the "food fight" (I started) eventually burns itself out, but there are so many folks invested in the nastiness, it may take a while.
Thank you for your civil tone. Maybe something positive will come of all this. Hope springs eternal.
too much information for me to process
