Does anyone know if Chess.com Removed the little fire emoji next to the player name on the home menu? The one that symbolizes how many days in a row someone has played.
It's a feature that wasn't available for everyone, as far as I'm aware, but I've seen similar posts and have asked staff about it. At this point I haven't heard of it not showing is a bug or has been removed.

Yeah that play day streak is super annoying. Is there a way to disable it? It is completely useless and is an annoying distraction. I figured using Ublock origin to custom block it but I am worried I might break the website.

I was playing every day, prob at 129 or 130 days in a row now. I saw the symbol yesterday and today its gone. So idk why they would do that.
Man I had 500+ days, and they didn't even publish the annual recap... D;
I've had it come and then go twice, this time after 100+ days. Maybe they should make up their mind and either stick with it or get rid of it.
Yeah it's a bit inconsistent. It went away for a while, and in the past few months it came back. I remember my friend having it since forever while I was wondering why mine wasn't showing.
Hello! The Streaks feature has been removed from our platform for now, and it might return in the future. Thanks for noticing it and bringing it up.
Thank you for the follow up. It was great to see the Streaks, but I understand that not everybody appreciate this information. Could you make it an option svp? As Default, it could be masked, but we could activate it in our Parameters. Like "Show Streaks on profile" (on / off), as other options. Thank you (I missed it!)

When it was active there was a setting to disable/enable
yeah that's a bummer. I really enjoyed it and it was a part of the reason I logged on each day. Had to make sure I kept that baby going
