Someone who is not your friend can post on your page, challenge you to games, follow your tracked activity, etc. What exactly can a friend actually "do" that is worrying you? At most the only diffrences that I can think of is that you know when each other are online and their thumbnail is on your friends section of your page...

What kamu-kun basically said, only I'm haunted by guys thinking I'm a girl and trying to seduce me...

AUAUAUAUAU~!

Get yourself an excessively manly avatar, it should take care of most of your problems.

Most of these images (click on your own risk), when used for avatar and home page background, should take care of the problem.

Oh... I should've read the warning before... clicking... o.O

They aren't really your friends, they're just blips on the Internet. You think too much.

Have we been introduced yet? I don't think so. Besides, I'm not a big fan of birds. Blame DrSpudnik Wink

What do I do with excessive friend requests?

I have three right now and if I ignore them, they will just accumulate until the red speech bubbles becomes 30 or something like that.

I don't want to decline because I'll sound rude. I don't want to accept because I'm afraid what they might do once I accept (my profile theme has to do with it). I don't want to ignore either because I'll still sound rude.

WHAT DO I DO?????

Don't tell them where you live.

Vulpes has 69 friends. Is there something special about that number that a couple more would destroy?

What is the significance of that number, Victor? I don't understand? Tongue Out

You have 69 friends already (I think that's quite a lot, perhaps many of those are 'stale' / haven't logged in for over three months?), and nearly 7,000 profile views.  Friend requests come with such a territory.

As to 'rudeness', there's no implied obligation to accept friend requests.  But if you want to be clear about it you could post a 'policy' on your profile, remarking that you've reached your quota for friends and are turning down subsequent friend requests for now.
