It is remarkably similar to his old avatar, which (I think) was him. 

Who has produced more harassment on the site than snakes w/his pics? Specifically targeted members. No one that I can think of.

A mod woudn't care if Hessian was bugged by this. It seems to be, on its face, contrary to site guidelines.

Add the bickering and is it a wonder that the thread would be shut down?

@Hess can take it, just as well as he dishes it out.

It's that the point of all the jousting you see in the forums.  Pretty harmless blood letting, don't you think?

I wouldn't be surprised it @Hess was laughing too.  Who wasn't?  Those Panda skits were hilarious.

So is that how one can get a thread shut down by simply go into it and bicker with someone?

@Bowerick seems fairly benign (and funny) to me.  It's the folks that "go after him" that probably need to worry.  He's a great counter-puncher.

But again, on balance, what is suffered except a wee bit of public humiliation?

Haven't we all been on the receiving end of that?  Goes with the territory, methinks. 

And what do you guess inspired Snake to post these photoshopped pictures? Did he do it because Hess was behaving so utterly friendly?? Or was it a reaction to Hess's rude behaviour? Anyone with more than two braincells would know what to expect as a reaction.

I agree Z a little bit of humility reminds us how we should not be so proud of the things we are also guilty of.

My conjecture is that the thread was shut down--

1) Because of the SUSTAINED and direct, one on one, bickering, colorful as it was.

2) Someone (or someones) who have juice with management, complained about @Bowerick.

My bet in on #1 above.

Most folks were probably entertained by the whole thing.  I certainly was.  

I've seen threads shut down for not so much in terms of bickering. Let it continue for a while and the thread may even be deleted.

Depends on the perspective and mood of the staff/mod, so it has seemed to me.

If you know might be an example.

Me and Cloth had a past run in.  I was the one who mocked him in the beginning.  He lays in waiting for people to make mistakes..Does not commit to much in fear of it being pulled apart. give the guy his due he does not use any sort of profanities

Indeed. Considering the (allowed?) ongoing bickering in some other threads, this shut down certainly seems related to perspective and mood of a mod...

Exactly, somebody on staff has to make that call, and it depends on context, the reviewer, and a host of other considerations.

The thread was getting kinda crazy, colorful, HOT, and funny.  But it obviously crossed someone's redline.

But it sure was fun while it lasted.

It wouldn't have surprised me if it had been shut down on the basis of the photo harasssment alone, the text bickering aside.

I grew my hair long, and wore a bandana much like yours, during my Rebel Years.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Depends mostly where you live and work.  Norms are different all around the country.

I have seen some of the absolute worst in male fashion statements at Chess Tournaments.  So what?  People are allowed to be eccentric.  

To be honest the photo shop was funny/harmless just tomfoolery, i would be honoured i'de like to see some of me..If it's funny it's funny.obviously nothing to personal.  Snake towards the end was starting to get angry an call .
