Squirrels, people! Let's stay focussed here!

You know the consquences of thread hijacking!

Apparently these consequences are non-existent for Mr. Gilded-Candlelight or Timbeau, who have thoroughly interrupted the thread for their own personal feud. But thank you for reminding me.

Incidentally, what is the topic of this thread, now that the OP has successfully concluded his introduction of himself?

The thread was originally in General Discussions, therefore nobody should have hijacked or derailed it.

People shouldn't be using other peoples threads to post personal disputes they have with others.

One of the moderators has already moved this to Off Topics because it got derailed.

By the way best of luck in your quest to become a GM Atomic_Rift.  It's good that you have supportive friends, having unsupportive (so called) friends can lead to many tribulations or far worse.  I hope you always have good friends.

Thanks! :)

If said "other people" want to maintain the pristine integrity of their thoughts, they should blog.  The OP of a thread released to the general public should not be considered the "owner" of said thread.

Gilded_Candlelight

my original post about you Timbeau was simply because you were being patronizing. I admit I could not have said your gf left you but clearly, since I dont know you, I was being facetious. I did not much care how you felt, but then  you went on with some ad hominem attacks and I feel like you must be upset or you would not continue on with the subject. In fact I quit tracking the post shortly after and the reason I did blocked you is because you posted on my profile and I totally forgot who you were. So since I did make facetious statements which were insulting I apologize. I did not think you would really be upset about it, maybe at the most you post some insult and be done. I probably was quick to respond because rhetoric is fun and I saw some fun spots to attack. But it is really not even a minute or two of my day and it is silly to go on about. So you  have my apology for saying your gf left you, you have my reasoning for posting about you, you have the reason I blocked you and I dont track this so you  know why I have not responded. I  checked forums I had posted in because I was waiting for my cc game. Hopefully you feel it is all square now, if you dont you can message me. If you still feel your honor impugned best to post it on here since I dont track this forum.

Ah, but think of all the wondrous divertissements we would be shorn of were they to follow this sage advice!

Yes, he has moved to South Georgia!  Which, according to this young woman, is one of the 50 stats:

I'm not sure I recognise the young person AndyC . Is she a generic blonde or an individual of the type?

The moment somebody uses the phrase "ad hominem" I stop reading.

(Appropriately enough, I suppose, I got this pic from something called the "Muppet Wiki.")  And btw hey, that mutt's not Buck! (this is an outrage!)  I guess maybe Cheech left the show, so they had to find a replacement...

Cool.

Atomic_Rift

Proverbs has so much wisdom most people don't think it's part of the Bible.

At age 12, you have the world in your hands.  You have taken a correct step in studying chess.  Also study Go, or wei-chi.  By studying these two games you will embody the concept, "when trouble arises, the first step is to not be there".  So much responsibility and so little time in life.

You don't recognise Kelly?  Where were you hiding when this show was airing?!

Nice bible quote... gonna have to memorise that one :-)

I too often choose the one following it: which often makes me regret I'd not chosen the one preceeding it.

(don't you want to tear me feather from feather?)
