Can you be blocked from posting on specific threads but still be able to post on others?
When you’re blocked, the one who did, you’re unable on any of they’re threads to respond, leave comments, nor chat message nor notes. Blocked just by that individual, yes.

If the creator of a thread blocks you, you're blocked on all of his threads. However, this blocking doesn't affect your posting on other people's threads.
Is that why it won’t let me post on let’s make this a better community thread then?

...actually, private chat is a more presentable format, in an adult manner to work things out, only on respectful basis though, when regarding being mature. seriously
....you’re not blatantly revealing to all on the site, where others then can drop some two sense behavior, only causing more a rival.
Give it a rest root. Private chats ok if you want to have a polite conversation.

I know you’re new to the site, and he has been here for a while, recently has turned a new leaf for goodness, and is also now very busy because of just that, many messages, via chat too, alerts, groups, much on the plate and the dude deserves some slack. I understand you were blocked, and also know you in many of the other threads against his cause have been posting, and his actions I think are fantastic for only the betterment of the site, all posting in the threads and making a positive atmosphere instead the lousy toxicity that was much going on before and needs be removed. I truly believe he was wishing to find out why you against his effort for good, be honest with you.

I am myself.. I have no desire to be called some elitist, but I highly admire what his cause stands for, and it’s betterment for all here during unfair crazy times to deal already with and make only the proper atmosphere, chess.com a place for comfort, even in the Forums, yes.
His cause? You do realise that this is an online chess site? There are clubs where people with the same views can gather. The clubs should not try to make the public forums extensions of their clubs. If they wish to censor anyone who does not say what they want them to say should they really censor them? Isn’t that what the moderators are for? If people want to feel important on here then that’s fine. Whatever floats your boat. But some people just want a laugh. But to block and censor those who won’t do as there told? It’s juvenile
I think spreading the proper message anywhere is what is wise. And that is always positivity based. When an individual’s intent is only to conflict with what is important, than it is also very wise to remove that individual, and perhaps they are helped by so, and learn what valuably can do them a great deal of good.

it wouldn’t make any difference, he is a serial blocker who spams you with private messages before getting you muted. kind of like a forum rottweiler. he wants everyone to think he is a nice guy so he makes those joke threads about cleaning up the site.
